On Thanksgiving evening after we had all eaten our fill, we took the kids over to visit the neighbor's lion. As it turns out, they have many more animals too! They have one male african lion, two fisher cats, a hunting falcon, several turtles and a few other exotic birds. It was a fun time for the Kieran and her friends, Ben and Joel.
We had some dear friends visit us here in Karachi for one month, Josh and Rebecca K. They have two kids, Isaac (2.5 yr.) and Josiah (8 mo.). Kieran is really missing her playmate, Isaac. This a picture of Isaac and Kiki in the tub, and a drawing of Isaac that Kiki made today.
Kieran is really into dinosaurs. A few months ago she was pretending to be one and ended up eating some toxic houseplants. After a few hours in the ER she was deemed fit to go home.
These pictures are of Kiki's first week of school. She attends Del Sol School and the 3rd picture is of her teacher. Also pictured is her friend, Ben, on his first day of school.
For those interested in early childhood development - these are Kiki's first human drawings. One is of Kiki and her rabbits, the other is of Kiki with wet hair. : )
Kieran and her cousin, Hannah did a great job as flower girls in Jon's sister's wedding. There are more wedding pictures at http://www.dunnetteupdate.blogspot.com/ . There was a rather large gaggle of little girls at the reception - they loved being able to let loose and rip up the dance floor. I had Kiki and Hannah's red dresses made in Pakistan.
