Murree

We have a big yard here in Murree that we share with several other families. Kieran is able to run around in the grass and play with the neighbor's cocker spaniel. The weather here is quite cool - in the 70's during the day and in the 60's at night.

Kieran's Many Faces

Kieran got into my makeup today and decided she needed rouge all around her mouth (making her look like a hobo). Later this same day we ate spaghetti.

Kashmir Point

Jon, Kieran, Melissa and I all visited Kashmir Point yesterday - where we can see into India on a clear day. A gaggle of cute little girls kept begging me to buy their daisy chains (costing 16 cents each), so I bought one for Kieran and one for Jon. Jon was quite hesitant to don his daisy hat, but I think it suits him!
I was able to go hiking in the mountains today and I stumbled upon one of the daisy fields where the mountain children sit an make their laurels to sell to the tourists. It was a serene little scene with kids sitting among the flowers, laughing and weaving daisies together. These mountain foothills are so beautiful - I never knew that such a woodsy place existed here! It often reminds us of Mt. Baker in Washington.

Bicycle

Kieran loves riding bicycles! She has a friend here in Murree that loaned her one for awhile.

peas and prayers

Here are a few more pics of Keiran in Quetta. She enjoyed shelling peas with me and learning to pray with Melissa. We pray for our family and friends every night before bed. We're so thankful for you all!
